Company Overview

Explore Work and Travel International operates as a cultural exchange program located in St. Ann Jamaica, which allow tertiary level students from Jamaica to enjoy the experience of working in the United States along with meeting people from different cultures. At EWT, we strive to create global connections through Explore Work and Travel International. 

Our program supports this by offering a wide range of seasonal work opportunities for students, supporting student immersion into the communities which they reside, giving them a greater understanding of the American business environment, while gaining a sense of independence by living on their own and returning to their home country with rich memories and a better insight into the values of a democratic and free market economy.

Explore Work and Travel International (EWT), has been in operation since January 2018. Since startup; the business has seen successful growth due to the dedication, hard work and determination from the founder Mr. Jafari Reid and his partner Miss Sharline Atkinson who worked tirelessly along with the help from loyal participants to see the company growing. The company’s directors have first-hand knowledge and experience with the J1 program as they were once participants themselves. Their practical engagements have significantly empowered EWT to readily identify gainful employments for their participants thus building sustained relations with our international partners. Summer Work and Travel

The summer work and travel program is specifically for University/College students enrolled in an full-time degree program at an institution located outside the United States. This program is designed for these students to come to the United States to work and travel during their summer vacation.

Internship and trainee

Internship and trainee programs are designed to allow foreign college and university students or recent graduates to come to the United States to gain exposure in the U.S culture and to receive hands on experience in U.S business practices in their chosen occupational field of which they have studied.

Camp Counselor

The Camp Counselor program allows tertiary level students to engage with American youth at U.S summer camps.
